“I’ve never been so busy! From scouring the ancient woodlands, beachcombing for driftwood, late nights in the shed and up and down the country…..........what a hobby!
Deciding to sell from what is my hobby was a big step for me. It’s all very well friends and family saying how much they like the things I make but selling them to the general public is another matter and I’ve found you can’t please everyone! Nevertheless I was encouraged to give it a go and took the first step.
I first found a local craft market which involved showing my work to a committee who decided if it was suitable and of a quality level. After passing the test I was able to have a stall and start selling at their local events. The stall went well through the summer and Christmas period and so I continued into the second year. Interest was greater and past customers came back which gave me the encouragement to venture further a field. So with my family in tow, we now travel our beautiful land selling at various festivals, fayres and craft shows and through these events we have met many wonderful people.
This has to be the best part of the journey, meeting and selling to fellow followers of many differing Pagan paths, nature lovers and Faery believers and it is an absolute joy to listen to their stories of faerie encounters or pagan experiences. Seeing someone walk away happy with an item I have made by hand is for me extremely rewarding. I love for people to stop and take the time to chat about their seasonal journeys and celebrations; therefore we hope people visiting our website will take time to chat to us and others on our blog page.
Bright Blessings
