The Hare- A beautiful animal with strong magickal connections . An old saying goes "by night all hares become witches" . It has a strong relationship with the moon hence the famous images of the moongazers we are familier with . In fact in chinese tradition it is a hare and not a man who can be seen in the moon. A powerfull symbol of fertility the hare is often depicted with an egg and associated with the celtic celebration of Osteria which was later adapted by the christians to become Easter with of course the easter rabbit.
This board is made from Ash wood approx 10in in diameter. I have pyrographed (burnt in) my own image of this most cunning of creatures. The board can be used for decoration or alternantly an Altar board for magickal work . Free p&p (uk)
