A rare besom this! the handle is crafted from blackthorn while the head is a fine broom of Hawthorn .
I collected the hawthorn before the thorns had developed fully so not too much blood was shed crafting this besom. The Blackthorn handle has a wonerful rich red colour and gives an instant warmth on handling. The two combine perfectly to give a poweful protective piece. Besom is full size . Free p&p (uk)
